In the province of Perugia there are also nine of the thirteen DOCs present. The wines of the Assisi DOC are produced starting from the Trebbiano toscano, Grechetto, Sangiovese. Colli del Trasimeno or Trasimeno DOC denomination It is produced with wines produced from the Grechetto, Pinot Bianco. Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Gamay, Trebbiano Toscano, Ciliegiolo and other vines grown in Umbria.
