La Casa Dei Cini, owned by Riccardo and Clelia Cini, is a family-run organic farm located in the municipality of Piegaro.
We produce natural wines (or artisanal wines, as some prefer to call them) from our own hand-picked organic grapes, using spontaneous fermentation, without additives and with minimal intervention in the cellar, to allow the wine to express the authentic character of our territory.
Our farm is organic, meaning we produce without pesticides or synthetic chemical fertilisers.
In addition to wine, we produce oil, aglione, honey, lavender essential oil, grape jelly and grape juice in small quantities, so they are not always available for sale throughout the year.
We are also an educational farm that collaborates with schools in the area through a project that introduces children to the fascinating world of bees.

Precisely because it is extremely familiar (only Clelia Cini takes care of these activities), reservations are required to agree on times and schedules.
Our tastings allow you to get to know and taste a territory: in addition to our products, we offer local products from neighbouring friendly farms.
BASIC TASTING – 1h 30min – € 18pp

TORTA AL TESTO AND UMBRICELLI WORKSHOP – 2h 30min – € 35pp

Cooking workshop where you’ll learn how to make and cook Torta al Testo, a typical Umbrian focaccia.
You’ll fill and taste the Torta al Testo along with a glass of wine.
You’ll then learn how to make Umbricelli, a typical Umbrian pasta.
All necessary materials will be provided during the activity.
WORKSHOP + TASTING LUNCH – 4h – € 60pp
min 4 people – At least 3 days notice

Wauw! Wat een fantastisch familiebedrijf waar de passie voor wijn en olie nog oprecht leeft!
We hebben deze locatie via internet gevonden en er naar toe gereden. We werden warm verwelkomd. Het hek was open (blijkt altijd open te zijn) dus je kan er goed naar toe rijden.
We waren met z’n tweeën. De eigenaresse die dit mooie bedrijf samen met haar broer runt, vertelde enthousiast over haar wijn productie. In de tussentijd hebben we haar wijnen mogen proeven.
De biologische wijn smaakte heerlijk. Het kiezen van de ‘lekkerste’ wijn was moeilijk 😉. Gelukkig hebben we de witte en rode wijn meegenomen.
Daarna heeft ze ons haar leuke dieren en goed uitziende moestuin laten zien. Tussendoor liepen haar kippen met kuikens. Een leuke ervaring waarbij het -als je met een groter gezelschap bent- te reserveren voor een proeverij. Die is van harte aan te bevelen omdat je hier alle lokale streekproducten kan proeven.
La Casa Dei Cini is een ware parel van Umbrië en van harte aanbevolen om te bezoeken. We komen hier graag nog een keer terug.

Absolutely amazing and magical experience. What a lovely family winery with farm animals as a bonus. We had a big group and we had an incredible time. The wine was delicious and plenty! Cant wait to be back!

Wir haben La Casa Dei Cini über AgriCamper gefunden und besucht. Diesen Aufenthalt werden wir so schnell nicht vergessen & es ist eins der Highlights unseres Urlaubs gewesen.
Abends haben wir an einer Verkostung teilgenommen. Es war köstlich und unglaublich toll. Wir wurden mit so viel Herzlichkeit empfangen. Die Weine waren ebenfalls sehr lecker.

We had a lovely time at our tasting with Clelia! She accommodated us last minute and answered all our many questions about winemaking and running a vineyard. The wines were all unique and delicious. The farm itself is beautiful and perfect place for enjoying Umbrian life and wine. We are so happy that we stayed near here and decided to reach out. Thank you for the great experience!

We had a great morning here. 4 adults and 3 young kids. Adults had some great wine and explanation from Clelia and the kids were able to play on the climber and visit the farm animals. All were very happy with the experience

Wir waren hier mit dem Wohnmobil über die AgriCamper-App. Schon vor unserer Ankunft erhielten wir einen besorgten Anruf, dass möglicherweise die zum Campen vorgesehene Wiese wegen Regens nicht nutzbar sei. Gott sei Dank regnet es dann doch nicht und wir konnten die Wiese neben den Eseln nutzen.
Nach dem sehr freundlichen Empfang verkosteten wir die angebotenen Weine. Sowohl der Wein wie auch die angebotenen Lebensmittel wie Mehl, Eier, Bohnen und noch viel mehr werden biologisch produziert, was wir gerne für einen Einkauf nutzten.
