What a gem! Our group of four spent a fabulous afternoon tasting wines, paired with delicious Umbrian foods and Borgese’s own olive oil. We received the warmest welcome and generous hospitality from Massimo and his family, despite arriving in the middle of the olive harvest. The Borgese family’s care and artistry was evident in their products, creating wines that are unmatched in quality and value for money. We bought as much as we could drink and pack in our suitcases and look forward to returning. Thank you so much for sharing your generosity, time and expertise with us!

Beautiful family run winery. We enjoyed a fantastic 5 wine tasting, accompanied by local delicacies from the region. Wonderful wine, food and location. Massimo who owns the winery hosted us and showed us through the cellars and described each stage of the wine making process. Very informative and overall delightful visit.

In this winery I was impressed by the beautiful wines, the beautiful people and the hard work behind a great product. I enjoyed especially the Sagrantino red wine DOCG and the fizzy 100% Sagrantino rosé: the latter is the first attempt in the area to produce 100% sparkling Sagrantino. I do hope it paves the way for many more wineries to produce Sagrantino bubbles.

My wife and I found this place on google map. We went there and did not know what to expect. We were looking for a charming winery where we can enjoy the wine tasting, good food and an amazing scenery. This place offered all what we were looking for and more. Massimo and his wife were the perfect hosts. They explained how their wine is made, served us delicious food and provided us with an amazing experience. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have an authentic amazing winery experience

We had the pleasure of visiting Massimo and his family’s winery, after reading countless stellar reviews online. The experience was even better than advertised. Massimo gave us an excellent tour of his winery, followed by a comprehensive tasting and explanation of a variety of wines produced on site. The amount of wine served and additional tasting boards provided were more than generous. Massimo very kindly shared his own personal story and gave great advice on locations to visit within the Umbria region. We had the privilege of being the first Australians to visit and we could not recommend the whole experience more highly.
