Conero DOCG, produced from the Montepulciano and Sangiovese vines. The Rosso Conero DOC denomination is the descendant denomination of the previous DOCG and its wine is also produced with the Montepulciano vine. The white wines of Castello di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva DOCG, which includes the Classico subzone, and Verdicchio di Matelica Riserva DOCG. are produced with Verdicchio and both denominations are shared with the province of Macerata.

The red wine of the denomination Lacrima di Morro d’Alba DOC or Lacrima di Morro, also in the superiore and passito typologies, is produced with the Lacrima vine, native and unique to this area, which in the past was traditionally “married” to elm and maple and was grown on the hills surrounding Morro d’Alba.
