Conero DOCG, produced from the Montepulciano and Sangiovese vines. The Rosso Conero DOC denomination is the descendant denomination of the previous DOCG and its wine is also produced with the Montepulciano vine. White wines of Castello di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva DOCG, which includes the Classico subzone, and Verdicchio di Matelica Riserva DOCG. are produced with Verdicchio and both denominations are shared with the province of Macerata.
