In this area, made up of 19 municipalities, two main vines have always been grown, Nebbiolo and Arneis. Nebbiolo has adapted well to the steepest slopes of the hills, in the leanest and sandiest soils, where a fragrant and perfumed wine is obtained, elegant and generous in sensations starting from a beautiful inviting intense ruby red color.

On these hills, since 1400, a white grape variety has been grown, Arneis, which acquires subtle and elegant aromas that recall white flowers and suggestions of fresh fruit ranging from apple to peach to hazelnut. Roero is a red wine that can accompany all the courses of a meal. In the Roero land that is located to the left of the Tanaro river, the Nebbiolo grape variety, already known with the exclusive Barbaresco and Barolo declinations, becomes a pure expression and tasty mirror of the territory in which it is born.
