Valle Del Sole is located in the countryside of Offida, a medioeval village in the heart of the Piceno to the south of the Marche Region.
The winemaker Silvano, the owner of little farm with his family, coltivates and preserves its 11 hectars of vineyards . Since 1990 he cultivates following the rules of organic farming currently certified by ccpb both in the vineyards and in the cellar.
The varieties planted are ancient indigenous vines , they have an average age between 20 and 60 years and are Passerina , Pecorino and Montepulciano . These grapes designations ” Offida DOCG ” and ” Piceno Superiore ” .
Our wines express the link between the land , the environment and the manual work and are characterized by medium texture soils predominantly clay, by vineyards grassed on all the surface throughout the year, from exposure favorable , from sea breezes and from temperature change between day and night thanks to the proximity of the Adriatic Sea to the east and the Sibillini Mountains to the west.
The harvest is manual and the vinification is made at a controlled temperature to preserve and enhance the “terroir” of the variety. After fermentation, all the wines are stored in barrels of cement and remain in contact with the lees for months. Only red wines (ROSSO PICENO SUPERIORE AND OFFIDA DOCG ROSSO) matured in wooden barrels of 24 hl from 12 to 24 moths.

Wine tasting “OFFIDA DOCG PECORINO NEL TEMPO” to learn about the history of this ancient Italian vine, abandoned and forgotten in the past while today it is one of the most representative whites of the Marche region.
N. 3 vintages of Offida DOCG PECORINO: 2024, 2020, 2018.
The wines will be combine with “cacciannanz” in the wood oven, bread and extra virgin olive oil, selection of cheeses and Ascoli olives.
The products are typical, homemade and selected, everything is taken care of by the kitchen of our farmhouse. The food proposal may change based on the season and availability.
