Villa Franciacorta is a historic winery located in Monticelli Brusati (BS), founded in 1960, where nature, territory, and human craftsmanship blend harmoniously within an ancient medieval village.
The winery stands out in the Franciacorta landscape for its choice to produce exclusively prestigious vintage wines (millesimati), using only estate-grown grapes cultivated according to organic farming principles, with selected and indigenous yeasts. This approach enhances the unique characteristics of the marine-origin soils and allows each vintage to reflect the climatic nuances of its harvest.
The cellars are carved into the heart of the Madonna della Rosa hill and connect to a historic 16th-century cellar, where the renowned red wines, long a hallmark of Villa Franciacorta, are aged. Today, approximately 1,000,000 bottles of Franciacorta DOCG rest under optimal isothermal conditions, thanks to the natural underground temperature that prevents thermal fluctuations. Preserved in near-total darkness and “religious” silence, the bottles are first stacked and then placed on pupitres, where they are turned by hand following the traditional remuage method.
Within the village, Villa Gradoni Charme & Nature, with its 22 apartments, swimming pools, relaxation areas, playground, and the restaurant Ela Osteria, offers a unique enotourism experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tour and tasting, made all the more memorable by Martina who was an exceptional host. Her warm and engaging storytelling brought the estate’s history to life, and her detailed explanation of the traditional method made the experience both insightful and fascinating. I enjoyed their beautiful Franciacortas very much, especially the 2019 Saten.

The wine tour and tasting were absolutely amazing! The location is beautiful, and the staff were both knowledgeable and friendly.
